B.A., Political Science
Politics and Organizing
🎓 Loyola University Chicago
I graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and Minors in Philosophy and Psychology, competed on an Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl team, served in Student Government, and earned a paid fellowship to research the Democratization of the European Parliament. Outside of the classroom, I worked in internships at the City of Chicago Office of the Mayor and the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office.
✊ Organizing in the Windy City
Chicago’s rich history of community organizing inspired me while I lived there. I attended meetings of community organizations Northside P.O.W.E.R, Lakeview Action Coalition, and Southsiders Organized for Unity and Liberation. I put what I saw into practice, founding Loyola’s first student organizing group: Loyola Organized in Action.
